I got THE Gerber Gator 18" and its a good machete, I used it to chop a 4" tree down in the garden , took 3 hits , about £25

ah cool got another question for target practise in the garden i was looking to get a cross bow but i am not to sure what is or is not a safe place to buy from not in the mood to be scammed i was looking at

Heinne Haynes. Definitely. Been buying from them for years. Check out the Spec Plus SP8 by Ontario - real heavy duty chopper. Or Condor, Cold Steel, CRKT or BK&T also make more traditional machetes. I favour a cleaver type - more heft and weight with a thicker blade - really depends on what you want to use it for ?
