I got THE Gerber Gator 18" and its a good machete, I used it to chop a 4" tree down in the garden , took 3 hits , about £25

Heinne Haynes. Definitely. Been buying from them for years. Check out the Spec Plus SP8 by Ontario - real heavy duty chopper. Or Condor, Cold Steel, CRKT or BK&T also make more traditional machetes. I favour a cleaver type - more heft and weight with a thicker blade - really depends on what you want to use it for ? Gardening or Zombie Killer ?
