Hi everyone. Got a bit of a problem with a campingaz camping chef burner. I was given it a year or so ago and is in fairly new condition, problem is no gas whatsoever is getting to the burners. Flow is fine from the bottle through the regulator and hose....I suspect the inlet elbow on the side of the unit.
Looking down the inlet there appears to be a ball bearing in the inlet, is this a part of the inlet or a blockage?
All assistance appreciated. ...got a camping weekend in a couple of weeks! !!!!
Cheers

Oooooh gas H&S police will be here in a moment , can the bb be removed , is it a rogue one that has found it way there , the breakdown sheet doesn't list much have you tried a needle jet cleaner ? Or a good back blow through with a air line or computer duster

I woud say leave it be, if it sits ok in the pipe may be there to stop blow back (safety feature). Unless and obvious solution I would say source another to be on the safe side, as if there is a problem or a problem half fixed can turn bad real quick, especially if in the middle of nowhere.
They're cheap enough, but if ye are on a budget there's plenty of lil hobbo stoves and so on that you can make for nothing, use the dead wood on site. All more than sufficient for most needs as long as it's done properly is perfectly safe (no gas fumes).
