GMST!!!!

Post by jansman »

Got My Sh*t Together,( GMST) today. I reorganised my kit storage, and dumped some gear too. I have one shed, metal, where I store fuel. Paraffin, petrol and gas cannisters. Also a couple of 1KW generators. Stripped one -the crap one-for spares. I checked and ran the big lad for an hour, and ran the freezers off it. I hadn't started it for ages, second pull, done! That is Honda for you. The little one ran for an hour and powered an inspection lamp. All ready for the coming Winter. My LED lanterns I checked. The two wind-ups were fine. The three battery ones I checked. Two, the batteries had leaked. Chucked 'em. Going for LED inspection lights now for emergencies.
I now know where all the kit is. The moral of this thread is that you should check that your kit is fit for purpose
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

Timely reminder, purchase winter essentials whilst the weather is like it is and get some great deals.

Thanks J :D
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.
