EddyU here.
Brand new to prepping. Literally just started out. I live on the 3rd floor of an appartment building and will be bugging in if SHTF due to no finance for BO location. No chance of people accessing property through windows unless they have a very long ladder, pretty easy to defend against? There are 2 doors before my front door which could be barricaded.
I will be steadily building stores of food and water as well as defensive equipment.
I am a fabricator by trade. A skill which I think will be very useful in a SHTF situation and prepping for one.
Any advice is always welcome and I hope to become an active part of this community.
Thanks for reading

Hi EddyU,
Couldn't help picturing you all safe and secure in your bug out....but, um, what you going to do when you need more stock/food/water or other supplies? You'll have to come out of your fortress? However, joking aside, you make valid points about security etc. It'll certainly be dog eats dog WTSHTF - which it WILL at some point. I think we preppers are past the 'will it/won't it?' stage, and more at the 'when' and 'so what do we need to do' stage.
Have you ever watched the film (its on YouTube too) called COLLAPSE by Michael Ruppert? If you have then you'll know how good it is; butif you haven't, then do watch it if you're minded; it's a great peice - despite the many nay sayer comments, from the mouthy, illiterate 'we want to carry on as we have for the last 100 years', decimating anything and everything in pursuit of extreme comfort and laziness. I think you probably get my drift
Anyway, good to meet you Eddy.
