Hello fellow new member, I am also looking to share knowledge and skills, And learn as much as I can from other members. I was a Chainsaw Carver for years, and working with wood and the people who love wood has given me such pleasure, living a simple life makes us appreciate riches beyond money. food warmth friendship love, I try to have a positive attitude but reality bites back when the little we do get to know about points to global conflicts or monetary collapses or natural disasters waiting to knock us of our feet . jennyred,

Re: hello from liverpool
i have never had the pleasure to carve with a chainsaw as this must be truly a gifted art,i like to use small knifes, axes, small hand planes to shape carve hunting weapons, shelters, sometimes make my own bushcraft knifes but very long process all by hand using files ,wet papper. and as u said food, warmth, friendship and love is a rare gift which if there were more of this in the world there would be less global and local conflicts in the world but we are not that lucky and as for monetary callapse this is a real problem which i think this will happen on a global scale within the next 10years or less, and natural disasters will always be there all we can do is be ready for it when it happens so it wont knock us off are feet and stand strong ,jennyred
