Hi my name is Andy I live near blackburn in Lancashire. I'm in my 40's, got good woman, bad kids and dumb dogs etc
Got in to prepping because I believe the proverbial can hit the fan at anytime, whether it be the extreme weather or some other natural disaster there's nothing wrong with being prepared in case of emergency.
Its the sensible thing to do and everybody should have a plan, a bug out bag and survival kit & rations.
Apocalypse ? quite possible, meteors ? .. maybe! Zombies... noooo, but I have watched almost every zombie film going so maybe a virus!
I found it relatively easy to work out what I and my family needed, I simply imagined what happens when the electricity goes off, we lose water, gas, communication, light, heat, security protection. Then imagine we don't know why? and when it will be back on again.
So what would you need to survive? you ask yourself, at least for a couple of weeks to a month. Hoping the government (or should I say the people) gets things back to normal within that time, ha ha
I'm not that extreme yet, but budget and practical space hold me back from going all out prepping.
I think a dingy is the next purchase especially with all the flooding.
Glad to be back... sorry, I was here some months ago but I got removed for not using it enough, I think, sorry bad boy I am .
Cheers Andy
