Hello from Pontypridd

Post by morgawr »

Hello all, I'm not a prepper as yet, except on paper, but I have just finally convinced my partner of 30yrs it's something we have to do, so I have a few yrs research under my belt and have a lot of catch up to do, not going to be easy as I was just made bankrupt after loosing my job and house. No biggy, still plenty to eat and a warm bed unlike so many who will die of hunger today.
I got plenty to add to your forums and lot's to say about health, will be posting after a good sleep :)

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Sorry to hear of your situation. I hope that you can bounce back from that and be able to prep further for whatever life throws at you.

Thanks for the welcome, bankruptcy is the best thing that ever happened to me ( I must say it was two years in the planning ) after being ripped of by the bank year in year out we decided to fight back. I would not recommend it to everyone, only those who will loose everything and be prepared to start again, having children made it easy and a family that fully supported our plan.

I would not want to be in debt if an economic crisis was to hit Britain. I think preppers should consider this point as bailiffs will take everything including all your prepper gear and what self respecting bailiff would ignore all that lovely grub.

Hi & welcome.

Having supplies is only half the battle a positive mental attitude is just as important & I see you have the second half down pat.

Good luck with your future plans.
