I am George and although this is my first post I am a long time lurker.
I was compelled to register and share this website that I found...
Its always worried me when prepping about the possibility of broken bones, especially as my wife has a calcium deficiency and brakes at least 1 bone every year or so.
I stumbled across this site whilst researching and amending my contingency plan.
Its http://www.cast-supplies.co.uk They allow you to purchase either 'kits' which can be used to treat basic arm/leg breaks, but also BULK cast tape, plaster of Paris etc.
I have bough a few of their short leg kits and a few boxes of each size of tape to compliment our current first aid stockpile. I am not an expert but I have seen my wife have casts applied enough to have a good go, plus I use YouTube a lot and save videos to a dongle that I think could be useful in the event of a disaster which caused the internet to be off.
I spoke to the owner of the site and he has no problems supplying small or large quantities to the 'general public'.
Just my 2 pence
George
