Hello

Post by Donquay »

Hi all I have been reading these pages on and off for a while and the recent interest un radios got me to pluck courage up to register. Not really much of a prepare yet but do like to read what you guys and girls are up to it really makes me think and even start to plan in my own little ways. Hoping for some advice on what to do to get started. Thanks all

Hello and welcome! I'm in similar circumstances as a new member too, I consider myself a mental prepper as I dont do a lot of physical prepping.

Take it slow and dont get hooked lol

What kind of things do you find yourself thinking about preparing for?
The only thing more valuable than the things you carry, is knowing how to make and maintain them.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. What a nice place and so much information. I worry about just about everything especially power cuts and the water being turned off. All the flooding on the news got me wondering and finally signed up. If the phones go down how do you let the authorities know you are stranded?
