Hello all,
I've been lurking and reading for a couple of years now on this and a couple of other sites, and thought I'd take the plunge.
I've recently retired from the Army after 25 years - I've seen the 7Ps mentioned here a few times, and I guess that my job has had me prepared for all sorts, so prepping is nothing new in many ways.
Like most I feel a change coming, and like most I can't put my finger on exactly what 'it' is, but you only have to look around to see a crumbling society, a crowded island and an unhealthy economy which means that when it does hit the fan, it's probably going to do it in style.
My wife is kind of on board, she understands my concerns and realises there's a need to keep on top of things, although I'm not sure she's quite ready for a room full of tinned soup yet!
Anyway, I'll stop waffling, I just wanted to introduce myself and I look forward to becoming involved in the site, as well as learning from your good selves.
