Hi all,
Been lurking these forums for some time now. About time I make an intro and start contributing more.
I've been on the prepping scene about 2 years now and am learning more everyday. I saw a documentary called Domesday Preppers which I'm sure you're familiar with. I followed the show for about 6 months as the people they had on it became more and more nutjob. It was at this point I stopped watching. The spark had met with the tinder however and my fire of interest had begun burning. I guess I've always had a prepper way of thinking growing up but it's only this last year it's sunk in. The tonne of bricks which is responsibility hit me hard now I have my own place and the more I look into prepping, the more I learn the more I feel I have to do. Joining these forums is a first step into learning more about prepping and self-reliance. I hope I'm not too much of a nuisance being new and all but I'll do my best to not ask stupid questions.
I'm into IT and currently working in software development doing some PC repairs on the side along with some informal business in online gaming (selling virtual game currency for real money). I enjoy some light hiking and wild camping on the occasion. I live in an area surrounded by countryside but not too far from some larger towns which is great for work and facilities.
Anyways, I'm rambling now but that's given you some background on me. Thanks for reading.

Hello and welcome.
Don't worry about being a newbie - we've all had to start somewhere.

Hello and welcome
Please bare with me in my ramblings, I'm an ageing hippy struggling to control the voices in my head.
