Re: New member belfast
Hello.
What are you prepping for?
I do wonder what the motives are of new members who join and immediately want to meet with local preppers near them to 'discuss plans etc'.
If I was being a bit
I would think they are sussing out who has supplies so they can be raided if shtf.
Be an active member, share your skills and plans and maybe other members might want to meet up with you.

Hello and welcome to the Forum.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Hey junior....
I'm in the same boat mate. I'm from Belfast and looking to get a group together for some practice.
There have been 3 replies so far so including myself that makes four of us looking to take a hike somewhere soon and build a shelter, fire, and some foraging etc. You are more than welcome to join us bud.
We're trying to get a date when everyone is free so let me know when you're available and we can all get some practice in. Cheers,
Mark

Concerns understood lol, not me tho, just looking to share/learn with like minded people, not too many about this seems to be the best way to get out there and see what other local people think

Re: New member belfast
I've been thinking the same thing, thanks for the warning..I understand that in a shtf scenario, people will be desperate and would risk their lives for a piece of my family's pie. Even your best friend will steal from you to save his children...and rightly so, lol
I'll be sure to keep my address secret, as should we all.
Thanks again

Re: New member belfast
Welcome Junior,
I'm new to this as well mate, always thought being prepared was a good idea, but only recently had any money to start prepping. Just started with a BOB and im going to gradually add to it as I go along. Camping is my thing and I live near the Mournes, and know a handy spot that's only a couple of miles from some decent parking. Only thing is that I work weekends and am off Wednesdays and Thursdays. Don't know if that would suit but would be up for an overnighter. Also doing it on a weeknight would mean there would be less chance of the woods being full of pissed teenagers! let me know what you think. We could try making and sleeping in bivvies?
