I'm a regular reader but only an occasional poster - but was miffed to find my password was no longer working. Still not sure if I was hoofed out for lack of community spirit and posts or whether I just forgot the password! Sadly, I also seem to have lost the original email account that I'd used to create the uk-p account - so "forgotten password" wasn't going to help (anyone remember fsmail? apparently they don't either).

Nil desperatum! I created a new account and promise to do better on the posting front.

Location: Edge of the Fens. Ruralish (surrounded by fields but can still bike to shops, schools, etc).
Family: 1 x wife, 2 x children, 3 x cats.
Housing: Detached house + 1 acre of land.
Work: Office bound wage slave until recently. Currently a free man.
Enjoy: Being outdoors
Background: country boy (still live within 10 miles of the village I grew up in)
Preparing For: Fuel strike type supply chain interruptions, financial world problems, bad weather, and a little worse
Preps: Frugal living, productive garden, full larder, financial investments.

I don't think it was that; I've been logging on regularly - mainly so that the "unread posts" button brings me up to date whether I'm on my phone or my PC. I simply wasn't posting much. And the passwords stored in the browsers didn't work - so I assumed I was being kicked off.

Maybe it was just a case of technological confusion! Or my account's been hacked - although what value a comatose account here would have, I cannot fathom.

Anyway, I'm back so won't worry about it.
