Re: Gas bottle wood burner

Just 1 thing before you paint it black make sure u take it in to the garden and burn all the old pink paint off by lighting a fire in it as it will gi...

Razor clams

Hi does anyone have any experience catching razor clams? I spent a few hrs and a large pot of salt at the beach today trying to catch some but had very limited success. I checked the tide and went when it was right out. Am thinking that they must be seasonal however I did have wife, dog and small ch...

Re: Wood and materials

The tip. Always go and check out the local civil amenities. You wouldn't believe the things I have found at the tip and continue to find. Angle iron, box section, wood, t&g, a shopping trolley (now a rolling tool tote for the workshop will post some pics),a trailer!, a free standing roll top bat...

Re: Hello

Hi Spadework, The set up isn't that impressive yet but am getting there. Have been working on a GHB recently (when am allowed to stop working on the house!) and also been looking at installing a wood burner with a back boiler to give my radiators some warmth this winter, so will take some photos and...

Re: Hello

There are things over here that I feel more comfortable about, like part of my EDC is a Spyderco manix 2 a fa...

Re: Hello uk preppers from across the water.

Hi Damaralenoire, Thanks for your message. We haven't been here a long time, less than 6 months (only managed to get the internet on on Friday!)in total so are still exploring the area. I would like to hope that there are other preppers in the area but haven't met any yet. There are many farmers her...
