Sort of. They have no idea what my family and I get do re prepping, but I give thought to how the neighbours/community can be mobilized if the event ever happens to the betterment of the street. Something of an old school clan mentality perhaps!

Just re-read during a lovely caravan holiday in the highlands. Almost made me want to pull up the drawbridge and hole up there!In fact it was so lovely, it almost made me want to do that anyway.

This is one of those things that changes when you read another cracking book! I think I would say though: Robinson Crusoe- Daniel Dafoe and Watchers by Dean Koontz. I still re read the Stand by S King ever few years or so when the urge takes. As well as the the Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.

With Ebola being hot news at the moment, I've have been digging through my book cupboard to find 'The Hot Zone' by Richard Preston to re-read it. Worth a read, as written in a rather exciting albeit terrifying manner which makes it easy to read.

As far as 'things' lying around go, I have a few kubotans around the house, should I need one in a hurry say to smash the double glazing for example.
