Re: Vacuum packed food
I bought myself one of the foodsaver's the other day, very pleased with it I've managed to vac-pack most of my rice and all my flour and pasta. I even managed to make a few ration pack meals for a stealth camp this weekend (which has saved me about £15 for extra prepps). I bought it from argos, http...

Re: Lifesaver Bottle
Still worth contacting Lifesaver and asking what parts you need to replace. A 4000UF filter costs about £90 but the whole bottle will set you back £125.11, so its cheaper to sort the one you have then buy a new one. It might be something simple (and therefore cheap) to fix Contact Details Customer ...

Re: Lifesaver Bottle
My advice would be to contack lifesaver and ask them Leo It's an exMod one from ebay so I don't think they'll touch it. In all the specs I can find it says that when the ceramic filter is dead it wont pump and the more you use the filter the slower the flow, but the flow's still good I just wondere...

Re: Getting started in radio communications
I'm definitely putting one or two of these on my wish list.
Just managed to get the OH to agree to us getting a vacume sealer, (she's not fully behind prepping yet.) so may have to give it a few weeks before I'm allowed to play with one

Re: Lifesaver Bottle
Does anyone have any suggestions why mine isn't working properly. I bought it new and primed it before i tested it. It has a good flow rate but when I've tested it with some mucky water ( from my plant water tray) it still had a slight brown tinge to the water with black/brown bits in, although i pu...
