Re: Slingbow or Crossbow
I've got a crossbow for back garden target practice and although as people have stated they're slow at reloading. . in a shtf situation who reaaallly wants to get in the way of one of them? (presuming you're using it to defend yourself) and it didnt take me long to hit a small area of about 3x3inche...

'urban survival kit'
In planning my equipment, etc.. I came across this site which basically confirmed my edc and just was a little reminder of what to pack and to 'avoid gadgets and gimmicks'. there are also a few other good short reads on this site too but I think its essentially a site to sell first aid courses.. htt...
Re: EDC
The reason my Bag-Load is closing on GHB territory is because I use public transport. No car boot and no locker means that my EDC is all I'll have. And, with the exception of the trama-gear and the ferro-rod, I've used everything in the last year or so. I think that's a good way to sort your kit ou...
Re: EDC
I agree that EDC and GHB are two different beasts. I've got a GHB in my car which combined with my edc is enough to get me home from a good few miles away (if my car had to be ditched) and Ive got a pennyboard (small plastic skateboard) in the boot of my car which can be swift transport through stre...
Re: EDC
yeah I was thinking along the lines of going 'bag free' (even just a small camera bag) something that could get me home (main bag) or to my car (fak and other kit) so I can bug in (take the London riots or a national power cut /blackout for example) im not thinking a 28days later scenario..but anywa...
EDC
I've been looking at my EDC stuff and ive also had a look at what other people carry. the way I see EDC stuff is to abe able to not have to carry a bag, right? so stuff on a keychain (leatherman, keys, money, a little money pill with £20 emergency cash, torch, lighter, marker pen) as well as wallet a...

Re: New member!
Welcome to the forum, I'm new too. I'd also like to know more about the zones, I did have a cursory search but I couldn't seem to find anything that explained what they meant or where they were, if anyone could shed some light on that for us that would be great! Hi BlackDragon! After a little bit o...

New member!
Hi everyone, As the subject says, I'm a new member! I've always had a little interest in the whole concept of prepping for when SHTF, even collecting a thing or two along the way and eventually I've stumbled on this site.. After a quick read through on this site and I think I'm in zone 2/3? BUT orig...
