Leathermans

Apologies if this has been posted on here already.. I'm after a Leatherman or similar as a multi tool. Doesn't need to be anything particularly fancy with 50 different tools on it just something fairly basic that has most of the fundamentals covered. Does anyone have any experience or advice they wo...

Re: Tent advice for bug out.

Only thing I would add to this is you may want to spend a bit less on each and get two of the same tents rather than one more expensive one. Speaking from experience putting a tent back into its bag properly after a heavy weekend at a festival is easier said than done and inevitably things will go m...

Re: Treated my self to a new winter coat set....

I bought a north face mcmurdo parka last year and it is honestly the best investment I have ever made. It is basically a huge waterproof quilt with a 10 year guarantee. Not cheap by any means but it's something I plan on having for 10+ years and getting plenty of wear out of. . the ability to go in ...

Re: Hand sanitiser

Like holomon said providing it's of a certain alcohol content it shouldn't matter too much. My guess is the difference in price was likely down to where it was sold? The more expensive ones seem to be in service stations / boots etc. You can get them really cheap if you buy in bulk or in places lik...

Re: Asthma - Long term solutions?

This is the issue.. The triggers for an asthma attack or even for a tight chest / difficulty breathing can be wide ranging to say the least! Even then it can also be quite random for lots of people too. I honestly think if SHTF this will be a real problem for people. Ive yet to come across a reliab...

Re: 5 POUND PREPS

Feeling slightly inspired by this thread I gave this a go earlier in Asda! Here's how I got on - 4x tin spaghetti bolognese = 64p 2x large tin potatoes = 30p 2x tins mushy peas = 32p 2x tins kidney peans = 46p 2x tins spaghetti = 32p 2x tins carrots = 38p 2x tins mixed vegetables = 42p 2x irish stew...

Re: Gas masks

Ideally I'm looking for one option that can cover a number of eventualities. I know a one size fits all approach isn't totally realistic but something versatile without having to have a wide number of filters would be preffered.

Any ideas? ha
