A great portable water filter
I really would feel uneasy if I didnt have a great portable water filter. I personally enjoy the katadyn model called the hiker. Its small and fits well in a go bag. Lets be honest it may not always be in your best interest to take a giant pot or bucket to water source and lug it back to your camp o...

Our World: Recovered Journals
I noticed we have a good deal of folks who enjoy the prepper fiction genre here. I think its been a bit limited to novels and in this day and age, with self publishing and all, we can create really neat books that sort of break the mold. On the 16th of this month Our World: Recovered Journals will b...

Two sites that really do it best in the states are www.prepperbroadcasting.com and www.prepperpodcast.com. My show I AM Liberty is on both. The UK prepper Tom Linden is on ...

do you include neighbors?
I always encourage the inclusion of the community in preparedness endeavors. You don't have to get all on them and tell them you believe Z day is coming. Here we get a lot of Hurricane damages so we talk hurricane preparedness. I would like to work a community watch as well.

new guy from across the pond
Hi Uk Preppers, My name is James Walton. I host a podcast called I AM Liberty that airs on a number of prepper stations in America. I have my fingers in deep over here so I decided to see what prepping in the UK was all about. I know you guys have very real challenges as well. Anyhow I will do my be...
