Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 11
You can freeze chocolate? How come I never knew? It's too late now though since Arsozah says you can also microwave it. I'll just have to continue buying it in small quantities.

Re: Pepper fail during power outage

Re: Death by sheep
On our smallholding we kept a few sheep. One day when I was out feeding them, the ram butted our large dog and knocked him over. Not content with that, he also decided to butt me. (I suspect I wasn't walking up the hill to the sheep feeding troughs quickly enough for him.) He obviously wasn't too se...

Re: It's still about.
Son no. 1 caught it a couple of weeks ago having avoided it when son no. 2 and his girlfriend caught it at the height of the pandemic when they all lived in the same house. He was complaining because he'd taken a week's holiday to work on his new house and couldn't as he felt dizzy just walking down...

Signed up now and also persuaded my elderly mum that it was a good idea for her too.

Re: Priory service register
That's useful to know and, like others on here, we are eligible, Mr A being a pensioner as will I be later this year. We don't need help at the moment but it's always good to be aware of these support services.

Re: Car v public transport
When we moved here, one of my "must haves" was public transport. Despite having held a driving license for a lot of years, I am a nervous driver and avoid it as much as possible. As we get older, the time may come when we can no longer drive due to our various infirmities. Problems arise w...
