Re: Wavian Jerry Cans for storing unleaded petrol
If you're planning on storing petrol, make sure you stick to the legal limits..... I'm sure insurance companies would use excessive fuel storage to wriggle out of paying. Some info for you https://www.hse.gov.uk/fireandexplosion/petrol-storage-club-association.htm . Some bullet points: 30 ltrs maxi...

Wavian Jerry Cans for storing unleaded petrol
Hey, I’d like some help if you can. I’m looking to get some steel Jerry cans and understand that Wavian is a good (best?) brand. I’d want new ones rather than second hand but I’m struggling to find a source, if they are still sold for us UKers to buy. I found www.jerrycans.co.uk which seems to be so...
Re: Sandbags
Thanks all for your replies. I'm currently deciding what to do but I think I'll just buy some sand and store that outside, and get some Hessian bags at store them dry in my garage, and make up the sandbags if I need them. I suppose I should think about the size of the bag too. Understanding that I s...
Sandbags
(Why are even the simple things so complex!) Hey! I'm looking at getting myself some sandbags to protect my house from water damage. I'm not in a particularly high flood risk area but near where I live in Kent (not too far from the sea) doesn't have the best drainage. Therefore I'm not anticip...

Re: Seeking waterproof backpack cover for 5.11 Tactical Rush 72 (55L)
Hey Frnc, pretty much. I won't say I have everything but I've enough. There are a few tiny additions I'd like to get, like a few specific medicines, but most things, yes. Everything certainly fits. But it's not light. I just popped it on the scales and atm it's around 13.5kg. However considering eve...

Re: Seeking waterproof backpack cover for 5.11 Tactical Rush 72 (55L)
Thx all. I just don’t think a sack liner will work. The Rush 72 is a very compartmentalised bag and I want everything waterproof. I will look at the few suggestions posted tho’ but if they don’t work, perhaps I will just get a few rubble bags and a cable ties and job done. Either that or I can pick ...

Seeking waterproof backpack cover for 5.11 Tactical Rush 72 (55L)
Sometimes the simple things seem the hardest to do... I'm looking for a waterproof backpack cover for my 5.11 Tactical Rush 72 (55L). There are many large waterproof covers on Amazon but none I've seen seem to fit this pack, as most of them are limited in width. My Rush 72 measures pretty much 60cm ...
