I don't doubt it, but it's probably American, they would have to have the population numbers of China as evenly spread as ours is here to appreciate things as they are here, where all land belongs to someone ( else usually) and asides from a few comparatively barren areas there's always another person not far away.
It is American. However, when you consider that UK emergency policy starts with the phrase, 'Go in, stay in, tune in', there is a general understanding that hordes of folks wandering about only leads to total chaos.

I wouldn't bother too much what TPTB advises Jansman, their not going to be one bit of help when TSHTF. especially for anybody that's not in London or the home counties, anyone out in the "shires" will be pretty much on their own.

That's emigrating in some people's book, I'm sure they'd blow all the bridges if TSHTF they don't like emmets as it is.
I have a strategy, it's not written in stone, nor can it be, this scenario has too many variables, everything about it depends on those variables, being specific is not possible.

well I suppose they could take out the Torpoint ferry, the Tamar Bridge and Gunnislake "new" bridge but what about "the Atlantic Highway AKA A39"???

I don't worry, nor am I bothered about 'TPTB' and their decisions. To me it is good old common sense. :D

most prepping is just "common sense", trouble is the general public no longer seem to possess any common sense any more, they have to be told what to do.

In essence I agree as I was always brought up with the notion of common sense ( and lament the seeming lack of it nowadays). Defining common sense is somewhat harder to pin down as one persons CS will differ from another's . Those of us on here will no doubt have ideas that seem strange and nonsensical to say an investor who prefers not to tie up his money in "preps" but to use it to increase his wealth giving him more options and more security.
An example of this difference in sense was highlighted to me a while ago reading a book about of all things the battle of the bulge. The Germans used English speaking troops in American uniforms to spread disorder , that much is well known. What gave them away was how they travelled in captured jeeps. A jeep has four seats and to the Germans in made perfect sense to put four soldiers in that jeep. However, to the American's way of thinking it made sense to only put two in the jeep in combat areas as that way only two would end up dead should it say hit a mine or be ambushed. I've told this story to a friend who said he was working something out using logic ( which is pretty much the same as common sense) and it did make him stop and think.
Edit
I forgot to add this bit but the example above also highlights another weakness that is found across the board from individuals to armies and whole states. That weakness is over estimating or having over confiedence in ones abilities. The prepping way would be to have a plan B, C ,D...........and except plans may very well fail.
