Dig two its holes so wind will flow through and your mole will come to close them. You'll be able to catch it easily with a spade/shovel and put in the bucket.

  John Seymour in his book 'The Fat of The Land' back in the fifties, wrote about his hatred for moles. However, at the end of that chapter he added a footnote that he had changed his mind about moles. He learned to live with them.
Remember, if you have moles, then your land is rich in worms. Which means your land is good. Good Permaculture attitude that. :D

Tried piss and I've tried paraffin (some contaminated fuel thats no good in my stoves or blowtorch)

Its currently digging 'search-grids' in the ground between and under the troughs and planters, so no plants are being disturbed..... Its just a trip hazard and I don't want to do a William III impression

If it buggers up the newly seeded grass in the non-working part of the garden the gloves will come off....... I'll be out there in a office chair with a torch taped onto a borrowed shotgun

take it you've found the Jasper clip then

There was the idea that windmills or musical birthday cards stop the moles from detecting the vibrations of worms likewise the mole spikes with what is a basic £2 maplin buzzer a 555 IC timer circuit and a few D cell batteries contained in a stainless tube Anne Summers would be happy to stock.....

Well none of the above work

I even tried 2x Bedlam sounders (industrial fire alarm buzzers) hooked up to a 24 volt supply all i can think is that they were deaf..... as they kept on tunnelling
If your roughing it, Your doing it wrong ;)

Hmm other than removing 6ft of the entire garden it might be simpler to just move house! :o

Know the old real stuff worked but new stuff still stinks so worth a try
