Nice :D

just a couple of observations if i might add them to your pondering list...

I cant see a secondary coupling on the hitch?

which would be a legal requirement since its not a braked trailer (braked trailers have a red snap cable which yanks the trailer brakes on if it detaches Unbraked should have a secondary anchor point linked to the a frame should the hitch come away....
Couplings

Trailers should be fitted with 50mm ball coupling to ISO and BSI standards.

Unbraked trailers must have a stout secondary coupling, such as a chain, which is connected securely to the towing vehicle when it is being towed. The secondary coupling must be tight enough to prevent the trailer's tow hitch from hitting the ground if the vehicle becomes uncoupled.
eg

also just check your lightings upto spec as from the pics its hard to gauge its length and width etc

http://uk-trailer-parts.co.uk/trailer-l ... quirements

Usually a traffic cop will be supprised to see a legal light board and matching numberplate but if your involved in an accident expect the tape measure and rule book to come out

Dont know if you have seen this stuff on HGV's it stands out miles way both side on and from the back

ive come to the conclusion most drivers are blind so go out my way to be seen

Thanks for the advice.

I will look at that in the next round of modifications.

Ok it makes you more conspicuous but i see it if TSHTF and your bugging out the street lights wont be on and people will be driving like muppets (more so than normal)

Is it an alko type hitch the trailer uses (one with the thumb press button with a "key hole" in it?

if so see these

http://www.trailertek.com/acatalog/Hitch_Locks.html

allows you to lock it to the towball / prevent it been hitched up when off the car.. ok its only brass but its a very small discrete deterrent to some light fingered oik who happens upon your car / trailer

have you seen this company?

they do a range of specialist trailer parts

That's so cool! I can see a lot of thought has gone into that.
We use my extra long high top van for our travelling, it's great, but it has downside of cooking fumes and having to be spot on with packing, whereas a trailer negates those problems.

Great pictures of a great trailer but dump the butane stove, they are as useful as a chocolate tea pot in colder weather.

No worries..... I have some petrol stoves and a wood burning hob I intend to use once we have used up all the butane we have.

I am about to do a raft of improvements soon. So I am going to do a write-up to continue this thread.

Nice blazer, must be a bit thirsty. I would love one.

If you burn car petrol in 'petrol' stoves such as Coleman the additives will clog up the stove generator much faster than clean fuel like Coleman/Aspen 4/panel wipe so well worth either packing clean fuel or carrying a spare generator or two.
