Saw this video and thought it might be of interest to some. I intend to make one of these myself very soon and will post a DIY thread to chart the progress.

I have built many plywood boats, mostly from this guy's designs:

You will find the finished boat is much more stable and practical, without needing that much more work. The stitch and tape method works fine with cable ties, which are way easier to get out after the first epoxy has set.

I have seen that website referenced as well.

I plan on making the one in the video I posted but adding an adaptation to it so that it could be used as a self supporting, single person emergency shelter when turned over.

Its a fun project to be sure! Not sure about how that would fit into my life, but still a great idea. One of the best things about the internet is people sharing their hobbies
