Socks, Socks and more socks!!!

I have nearly 100 pairs! some in my draw and some stashed away! if the S really did HTF then there won't be many around and they'll prolly be like gold!

I have my "Work" socks which are the cheap and cheerful "Wilson" socks from Matalan, but I like the terryloop socks in my walking boots, I managed three days with one pair on all 72+hrs I don't think I took my boots off much either, but the "Odor-Eaters" did their job

If out and about and the going is wet I will put on my "Pixie" boots, these are Goretex socks and they are great for keeping the feet dry.

gortex socks are brilliant! I only own one pair, but i can usually get away with just wearing one pair for a training weekend and still be comfortable

I'm not good with knitting socks either but I still make them! I have lots of wool and I love knitting so I just improvise,as long as they fit over your foot and are not too tight or too baggy I don't really care whether they are perfect,nobody sees them much anyway if your wearing shoes or slippers.

I need more boot socks, currently only got myself a few pairs, then twice as many thinner cotton socks. Yeah...definitely need to bolster my stocks.

Best socks ever are made of wool - even when wet, wool keeps your feet warm. Can't say that for cotton! Good job really, as you've got more chance of getting wool after TSHTF than cotton

I've got one as well but it's out on loan. I love wool, nothing else is as warm and soft.

Wifey bought me a pair of socks for Christmas, no joke, she really did.

Anyway, I forget the make but they are supposed to be the only socks with a guaranteed tog rating. I have to say, they are amazing. Not waterproof but extremely toastie. I think they sell them in Sports World.

If you are not planning on getting wet I would definatly recommend them.
