Submariners are natural born preppers!
Living on canned scran for ten weeks is a normality.
Deeps, we're not in Barrow, not far though. My Missus is a teacher, so we settled in her neck of the woods when I'd done my 22.
Suits me fine, the poor lass puts up with me, I put up with the rain.
I'm O boats originally, then the luxury of Polaris.

Just seen this, sorry for the late reply shippers. Aye, I guessed at Barrow, I know quite a few guys who left and walked straight into gigs there, there were a lot of familiar faces.

I used to go and watch Barrow and plenty other teams in the NW when I was there, there's plenty good clubs both big and small in the area. Hope you don't take long to find your feed in the forum and get posting.

One of the other mods has already advised you that until a certain number of posts have been made, and moderated, you are not able to send PMs. This applies to ALL forum members.

to Answer your Question 1. its the rules.
2. it weeds out the press and nutters
3 refer to answer 1
4. it aint going to change, being ex forces you should appreciate rules and regs.

It takes 10 post in the other areas of the forum to release your PM power. New members dose not count towards the totals.

If voting changed anything, they'd make it illegal.

Hello,

I used to live in Helensurgh too and my OH was also based at Faslane (marines). That was about 10 years ago now. I liked Helensburgh. It was quiet but a nice town.
