As amateurs at this prepping we have only just started out on the basics and designing our prepping around bugging down at home rather than bugging out although I have bought a few items just in case we need to leave.Our supplies so far are: 210ltrs of bottled water. 1 trangia liquid fuel cook set. 4 Ltrs of liquid fuel. Fire steel. A fairly good stock of tinned foods. Medical supplies. Field shelter (Basha). Good quality sheath knife and machete. Water Mills bag and puritabs. 1000 yds of 7 strand para cord. 75w solar panel and 2 x 110amp leisure batteries. Multi frequency AM FM SSB radio with a Sirio gainmaster 6.5mtr antenna on a 5 mtr pole. Bug out bag if required and probably a couple of items I have forgotten about including a very effective means of defending my loved ones.
I am looking forward to chatting and learning from others who are much more prepared than we are and glad to participate in different threads on this site.
