Have a rebar as EDC and use it every other day for something. It still looks as good as the day I unpacked it, having owned it for a few years a couple of years back i heard they were discontinuing the model, so I bought another which resides unused in my BOB! as it happens they have reserected it as a classic line.....it isn't the prettiest but it's tough and that makes me happy! :D

I've got a leatherman squirt PS4 which I got from the USA as it was on offer - that is in my EDC. For my BOB I've got a draper multitool (can't remember the model had it years and is strong as a tank).

The squirt as the name implies is really small, but it acts like a full size tool and has never let me down.

Hi munchh. I have the bit set as well but to be honest I haven't used it much. Handy to have and you can also add other"bits" from multi drill box sets that you may find come in handy.

GG.

no substitute in my opinion, had it years now, used frequently without issue, lifetime warranty when registered with LM,

Yep , no need to register it tho, I "discovered" my first leatherman in the toolkit of a motorbike I bought 25 years ago , and due to my own hamfistedness , have sent it back to the uk supplier 3 or 4 times and on each occasion have received a brand new version :D

So would say leatherman every time as it really is a tool for life :D

But for cheap and good quality and if you can live without pliers the Paul Chen Multi Tasker is very very good quality (I had one) and has been on offer at £9.95 at Heinies for ages http://www.heinnie.com/hanwei-paul-chen-multi-tasker
