Welcome! As a retired psychotherapist, I'm particularly keen on these issues too, thats great that you share that interest. I'm not on here as regularly as I have been because of family issues, but these next few weeks, I should be.

Welcome to our nice well-monitored community. They've managed to keep me quite well muzzled so far and I'm sure that is no mean feat.
I also have a preference for the 'how people tick' brigade but at the nursing level and a long time ago.

More to the point, I am in your area. Take a look at the map and I live not far from the two lighthouses west of you along the coast. Nice rock formations and a lovely view across the channel.

Captain Darling mentions that we are planning a meet next spring sometime. Hope you can join us.

Thanks guys, I do indeed have a good trauma prep set up after working in A&E! This is the first pdf I'd recommend for psychological first aid from the WHO http://apps.who.int/iris/bitstream/1066 ... 05_eng.pdf and I'm definitely interested in local meets ups as well - I'd neglected to come back to the forum recently with things being busy but let me know if there's something happening soon.

All the best,

Also, really silly question but do you know how to get replies notified to Gmail or otherwise pushed to another app so I don't miss them? Cheers
