Planted my egyptian Walking onions into pods.
OK. Folks..... Never one to get impatient,
here's an update on my egyptian babies. It's got the makings of a time lapse movie.
24 bulblets went into pods. I thought they were individual cloves, but some seem to be bulbs with more cloves.
One has sprouted multiple sprouts to about a centimetre. I'm calling that one baby Kleo
One has popped it's nose out from the compost by barely a millimetre. I'm calling that one Milli.
I'm calling the rest lazy beggars.
C'mon guys. You've had three days.
WAKEY WAKEY.
I'm all tensed up in anticipation.
Condition: Rather cold East facing windowsill, damp compost, buried to their necks. Not needed watering. Any that rot will get such a telling off.
Sorry guys. Obligatory baby photo's.
