All you gardeners be aware: there’s likely to be a frost up and down the UK tonight. Watch your young plants guys. ;)

Thanks. Damn! Will my spuds and pea and bean seeds be ok in the ground? They haven't sprouted yet? Is it only things that sprouted that are in danger?*

Do I have to bring my tomatoes in from the plastic mini greenhouse, or will that protect them enough?

* I'm guessing my onions and Triffid onions will tough it out without any cover? The Triffid onions are starting to flourish and get a growth spurt :)

Everything described will be ok. The greenhouse will do ok too. Onion’s don’t suffer. :D

Bloody inch of snow in aberdeenshire last night! I think my seedlings are dead. Oh well. I was chancing my arm putting them in early unprotected. Will resow when cold snap is over.

I think I should have warned that Scotland is under the risk of frosts until August! Sorry ,couldn’t help that :D
A Polish neighbour told me once about learning gardening as a lad. “There are two seasons back home; Winter and July”;

1° here last night S Manc/Chesh. Think it was slightly colder night before. Hopefully back to normal from now on, ie 7-9 minimums. Meanwhile Spain has been approaching 40°, a record for April. Image
