I thought we were only supposed to post in English on this board?

That was a direct reply to Deckard guessing he understands it fine..as he understands he's on a TN+CS supply (Tera Neutral Combined Seperate) ;) biggest issue Is people who don't understand domestic electric supply dabbling to get things working but potentially frying a poor linesman trying to fix the fault that caused the blackout..

If you are really bored there's this video

https://youtu.be/NdVm9JPi06U?si=bZQ0nUKMCHyBuKNo

CPC =Circuit Protective Conductor

Dno =Distribution Network Operators ( eg northern power grid)

Header = sparky short for service head (where the cable enters your house via their fuse before the meter )

Waggo = brand of tool free cable connectors

I've worked as a sparkys mate in the past and have 3 electricians in the family which comes in handy and a good mate who now overseeing electrical apprenticeships when things need doing I've a list of phone numbers :lol:

Took a long time (5 hours) for the living room to get to temperature yesterday. I think the boiler's set to 54 or 55, which is a bit low for winter. But weather's warming up so I'll leave it for now. The radiator seems hot enough.
EDF just reduced my DD, which isn't bad considering I turned my thermostat up one degree, and set it to come on earlier, at the start of heating period (late Oct I think, as there was a cold snap).

I've seen all sorts too. Only shock I've had to date has been off a coil on an old fiat, that was bad enough - it happens when you're tired and keep pressing on with a task I find. When I was younger I built a few valve amplifiers (off of internet designs; I never fully understood it all to be honest, but they worked great), practice back then when fault finding was to do so with one hand in your back pocket, quite a bit of step up in the transformers.

This week we are going through documentation. I am not being grim here either,nor looking for everyone to say “sorry” as polite as that is.👍
Sadly I am on the last page of my life now. Last year I went through paperwork.Boy,that needed sorting! 🤣 . Since Christmas I have been told my odds ,so I flicked through the file I sorted to cover us both. In such a short time,it needs re editing!

Top tip: I don’t care if you are in your twenties,get your life sorted!

Our editing won’t take long,but it will save time and hassle for my family when the inevitable happens.
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

Covid 19: After that level of weirdness ,any situation is certainly possible.
