Put a load of band stuff for free on Gumtree. Didn't really want a dealer to have it. Bloke just came round, said his niece is really into them. So looks like it all went to a good home. Was cluttering up prep room. Not listened to them for years. Too much effort to put it all on ebay.

Spring is here! T-shirt and shorts weather. Nice breeze outside. Got the sofa cover washed and drying outside. Is very heavy wet. Did it in the bath, and drying it over a clothes horse and the garden table.

But the nights are still cold.

Every can, packet and jar clearly labelled with expiry date and registered into a complex workbook.
More of the same task.

So far, over 250 Kilo of food and half a million Calories, organised and I've still to include my Sugar, Flour, Oil, and some Rice.
I've used 20 x 35 litre crates so far and have had to distribute them around my 'space' to stop the ceiling sagging :)

Also First bits of sowing at the allotment and cultivator tent. Peas, Beans, Martas and Onion sets. I'm starting the peas and beans in lengths of guttering.

Increasing my water & tinned preps. I estimate I have 3-4 months worth of food now but my drinking water is far less.

I am also getting some rack bolts for my "weak point" entry back door and I'm going to get more outside lights for night time security.

Got the sofa covers dry and back on, then throw on top. Am extremely glad I didn't put the main cover in the machine. Ikea armchair cover was bad enough. Sofa cover would have destroyed it. It was so heavy wet, I actually contemplated cutting it in half in the bath! Anyway, living room is pretty much done.

Junk clearout is in progress. Just got a few books and a draughtman's chair to get rid of. Got some old papers to shred.

Prep room is pretty much clear now. Priority now is to refill two water containers that are overdue. These are actually in the front bedroom now.

Winter duvet aired and in storage, with a bit of lavender to deter moths, as it is wool.

Got the lawn first cut done.

Picked up two of these to try out, less than a fiver for 2 delivered. Cheap and cheerful, not bad light output and the motion sensor works. Built in battery charges off supplied USB C lead. Mine are the 30cm strips, you can get different sizes.

2 for the price of a pint I'll pick a few more up.

You're storing water in 20L Jerry cans? Metal or Plastic?
Tell us more about your 'gravity water' system? Big storage tank additional to the normal domestic one??? How do you mean 'another 2 years supply'? Are you referring to the life of the filters?
