Less of a prep, more of a thing you are doing...
I've been reading a lot of books by Tristan Gooley on natural navigation, reading the weather etc so decided to see if I can learn to read the weather, rather than just look it up. So what I have done is create a Gemini gem that is a dedicated meteorologist. Whenever I see a change in the weather, I give the gem my observations / barometric pressure and tell it what I think the weather is doing / what comes next. Gemini then interprets the weather and tells me if I am right or wrong, or what I am missing. I then get it to cross check with the actual weather forecast provided by Google for my location.

That sounds like a better use of AI than most. As long as it actually tells you when you got it wrong.......

Had a delivery of plants and compost. He brought it all round the back. I am mid terraced, but only next door separates me from the side entry, and there's only one gate. Why someonw would put a bag of compost in a cardboard box, I don't know.
Moved some old compost and stone chips (in bags) from the front to back garden, via the side entry. Got 7 plants planted in the back. My back twinged a bit, so that's my limit. I'm pleased with getting that much done actually. Just got a bit to do in the front in the next few days, but it looks better already with those two bags gone.
Was quite lucky with the weather, only a few drops of rain/hail. I think this is more or less the last wintry day now. House seems roasting after all that work.

I'm not a fan of tea bags so every now and again buy 1kg bags of loose tea and break them down into 250gm packs and vacuum seal; stay good for years and the garden welcomes the leaves

After letting them sit in my Watchlist for about a year, I completed the purchases of Powdered whole egg and Ghee.
Picked up some silver under spot (and now almost have a date run of half-silver shillings)
Did a load of overtime and swapped my sacrificial account for another bankbribe, which will go to pay for all of the above.
Got the tree surgeon in, no more worries about branches landing on the greenhouse.

Noticed a load of water under the fridge crisper drawer. The drain hole for self defrosting had got blocked. Got it all cleaned out. Will keep an eye on it. Just got to wash the cloths.
Dermatitis has come back. I only used mild soap on my hand a few times. Few times too much! It had improved, but is quite red today. I wear gloves in the shower, and for washing up. Means I can't go cycling. I spent months getting it a bit better, and set it back in a couple of weeks.

Don’t know if it’s panic buying or a delivery problem but that’s my local petrol station out of diesel and the normal unleaded, they did have the more expensive one though but they are running out of that.
What’s it like elsewhere?

At the moment it is more likely to be panic buying or forecourts unable/unwilling to pay the new restock price. The UK holds a 90 day reserve for petrol/diesel but if people buy more than usual, the restock process cant keep up with demand.

Was down in Salisbury last week, and the Tesco petrol station was only using two pumps, so had to queue. Down here in Sussex not heard of any problems at the moment. I suspect what with half term and Easter approaching, there is a lot of "think I'll fill the car up, just in case" going on. Hence a larger demand.
