Had a splurge on the internet all based round the current carnage world wide only one thing no surer everything is going to go up in price :tinfoil

bought a 450w solar panel as the Chinese gov have pulled the rebated export tax on solar panels prices expected to jump 30% just as the UK is thinking of legalising balcony solar ......

That gives me max input for each ecoflow if shtf and I need to use them I can charge them all at the same time plan is this one is off in a home made fence panel to keep it semi discreet and away from damage ... Priced up 2x concrete slotted posts and a gravel board s about 70 quid plus a small fence panel or rail to put above will need to cut the gravel board down a out 60mm but no drama..

Bit like this with 600mm of concrete gravel board at the bottom to clear it of shade from the plants

Finally got twitchy enough to order a camping Gaz chef 2 burner hob with grill I've 2 burner hobs but the grill increases cooking options toast for breakfast Anyone? Or warming long life nann bread or pittas etc

Chilli plants and tomatoes are storming away but still too cool to put them in the greenhouse (have you seen the price of paraffin?)

Moved some solar garden lights about now got a good evening spread of light eliminated a couple of dark spots..
Can now clearly see the end of the garden with the new solar street lamp in its new position . Ordered another solar indoor light so both kids bedrooms can have solar lighting set up before shtf need to mount the mini solar panels to the roof with a bit of vhb tape on a warm dry day

Ordered 10kg of seed spuds (Nicola Verity slugs didn't munch them last year and 100 onion sets for the allotment..

Plus service kit for the car glad I got the oil about 1.5 months ago

Finally for now a triple lead for the starlink meaning no more climbing up to the dish to change the power cable from mains to 12v or USBC
If your roughing it, Your doing it wrong ;)

Lack of planning on your part doesn't make it an emergency on mine

I'm sure it's going to go up - it has to come to us from overseas, which uses fuel for the ships - anything and everything is going to go up, I have about 1.4 kilos of freeze dried instant stocked up and more coming next week.
Eggs are going up........that’ll surprise the chickens

Congratulations Andy, new job = more money = more torches

High winds expected tonight in the north. Am supposedly right on the edge of it, expecting wind from SW.

Just done a full discharge of the delta max power station to zero now on a full recharge cycle ..... Before these high winds start... be a full charge in about an hour and this way it'll recalibrate the BMS to keep it happy would have used solar but it's gone gray here

Thanks :D

will need to nip about 60mm off the gravel board to make them the same size as the solar panel so they slot in but it's nothing a diamond wheel on the grinder won't solve easy enough

Solar as fence panels sounds good. Are they the right size? 6ft? What do they present on the other side?

Just be a bit wary of stone chips when you mow.

Does anyone know much about these 'bifacial' panels? I bought some cheaply. Apart from difficulty illuminating both sides, what proportion of the rated power depends on both side being illuminated.... which won't be happening.
