Legal launch of solar plug and play in the UK today........... Monsoon levels of rain all day

DNO for house use.... not one site available with microinverters on their systems to register their use

It's as if the electric companies don't want people to save money :tinfoil :tinfoil :tinfoil
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

And that many rules about siting panels and open for interpretation internet's off mad with you can't put them.on wooden fences or wooden shed roofs but they word they use is dwelling house is a building, or a part of a building, that is used or intended to be used as a private home or place of human habitation

If it gets clarified and it's a no no £60 I'll tin the shed roof I dont live or sleep in the shed unless I upset Mrs Andy
If your roughing it, Your doing it wrong ;)

Lack of planning on your part doesn't make it an emergency on mine

Roofers are back on next door's roof this morning, which is very reassuring. They didn't come yesterday, can't say I blame them, as the Met had a warning. There is some rain forecast for later, but hopefully it won't be too bad. It came down quite hard for a bit yesterday evening, but I can't see any signs of leaks, touch wood. I was thinking of going for a ride, but I think I'll keep out of their way. Probably go at the weekend or later today.

Got my new waterproof bike jacket, finally. It is superb, apart from no hood volume adjuster (drawstring at the back of the hood). The hood has enough material to more or less cover a helmet, but that means a bit too much off-bike. Not a huge issue for me, but could annoy some people considering it's a premium 3 layer jacket.

Just had to deal with an emergency. I was in Sainbo's, and heard a woman call out 'can we have some help please' looking towards the self checkouts. I thought maybe she couldn't reach someting, so I went over. Realised there was a very old lady lying at my feet. Other lady was holding her head off the stone floor. Couldn't see any blood. Her eyes were open but she seemed unresponsive, maybe shock, I don't know.

I legged it and called someone at the self service tills. She radio'd for first aider. I went back. One first aider came in a few seconds. I was trying to get a shopping trolly off out of the way, but her feet were in the way, under it. By then about 3 more managers were there, and one had the bright idea of lifting the trolly.

Did a quick shop. Was ambulance outside. I think she was still on the floor. Maybe they prefer to talk to her before moving if possible?

Well done, Frnc, anything you can do can help.

I'm lurgified, hardly helping myself, let alone anyone else :( But Lil's post about buying a copy of Day of the Triffids went down well with me
