I really can not reveal what Neil Oliver said about my hair for reasons of propriety. Neil is a well respected academic and popular television broadcaster so it would be inappropriate of me to tarnish his image by repeating it.
In addition, Neil is very Scottish and sometimes when he lapses into his native accent I struggle to follow him. I have no real conception of what “the wee timerous contents of a sassenach's jock strap” is or means so I am assuming that it is not complimentary.
