I always keep one of those travellers dental repair kits in stock.
Apparently the temporary fillings are quite durable and get official dental approval.
Also some oil of cloves - tastes foul and burns but does relieve pain. Mind you it does act as a reminder to see a dentist NOW before TSHTF.
