I have always done some form of hunting guns dogs ferrets fishing can clean and skin most things.Trapping is also a good option found that a very effective method of hunting

trapping is in my opinion one of the most effective methods I trap alot of squirrels this time of year I cant set them quick enough 52 since the start of sept thats alot of meat for not much effort fenn mk4 are great easy to set and pay for themselves pretty dam quick

I was very lucky to learn a lot of skills when I was very young, dispatched my first chicken at age 10, learned to set snares, gut and skin rabbits even earlier, and I was quite a good fisherwoman in my time. I lived on a farm as a child, and my mum had an 'interesting' background and passed down many skills to me and my brother (my younger sister missed out because we moved before she was old enough to learn). I'm out of practice now and have actually been vegetarian for many years, however if it came to it I would have no hesitation in reverting, and reliving/relearning my old tricks

Before it was illegal I hunted for many years with crossbows, bows and whatever came to hand. Had my fac and shotgun certs,not much off the menu. As an old friend quoted,if it runs,, swims or flies I had it on the menu.
