Just to give a little update on the Lifesaver bottle that i bought. (sorry for semi hijacking but there's been talk of the lifesaver here, but i'll remove this post if the thread creator would like)

It came in record time (Ordered fri came mon) not bad for eBay standard.

Anyway, as a little test while at work i filled it with water + Robinsons squash and gave it a try.

Filtered everything BUT and this is the main reason i did the test: i could still taste the Robinsons juice.

So guys, s*** hot piece of kit but if you're gonna piss into it as a test, expect a warm, wee taste but clean source of water!

Might write a review if you guys think it'll be beneficial.

I like the Lifesaver, as I've said. The only disadvantage it has is the shelf life, which is approx 2 years because of seal deterioration. This can be extended by using it but that means you are also eating into its life.
