To be honest if you shop around for the gas canisters, it's not much more than natural gas.
Bullshit.

we do what can only be called a `one pot curry ` take one large pan and bung in what ever you want .usually two tins potatoes ,tin of carrots , Tin of garden peas , two tins of meat [mince or stewed steak] mushrooms if we have them and two jars of cheapo curry sauce . that lot is warming and feeds 4/5 adults .

you can do the same with every thing fresh from your garden if you have them , in my case i haven`t so just use tinned for the easyest
YES i walked away mid sentence , you were boring me to death and my survival instincts kick in .

It was helpful and constructive in the sense that it highlighted that, even by shopping around, gas canisters are no way close to the cost of natural/piped gas. Admittedly I could have explained that but I ran out of time, so ended my post at that point.
