we do what can only be called a `one pot curry ` take one large pan and bung in what ever you want .usually two tins potatoes ,tin of carrots , Tin of garden peas , two tins of meat [mince or stewed steak] mushrooms if we have them and two jars of cheapo curry sauce . that lot is warming and feeds 4/5 adults .
you can do the same with every thing fresh from your garden if you have them , in my case i haven`t so just use tinned for the easyest

It was helpful and constructive in the sense that it highlighted that, even by shopping around, gas canisters are no way close to the cost of natural/piped gas.
