I know what you mean. Back here after 20 years away. 15 years in Southend-on-Sea and 5 years in Shropshire. Didn't like Southend as there were only really two roads as escape routes and they were always clogged so felt we were trapped in an emergency.

Amazing how long it can take us to leave an abusive partner. I left mine 22 years ago now after putting up with her for far too long. I've never looked back! No need to feel isolated no you're here!

good thing about southend and escaping from it - you could take a boat over to sheppey and be back in kent (oare/hartferry) at low tide.

glad you have escaped and returned to a happier (i hope) place.

whats first on list of training?

im looking at krav maga classes and also hosting a red cross first aid course maybe ( 3 day jobby if anyone interested??)
