I've had a FUBAR mk II (small one pictured) for a while now. I use it for anything that needs broken/separated/smashed/annoyed me. I keep it hanging in the pride of place next to the flat door as an equaliser. Since it's a blunt tool it's legal to hurt an intertuder with it

Can i ask , now this is hypothetically, why you have this hanging by the front door , imagine as you answer standing before a policeman after you have just smashed someone's head in. Personally it needs to be in a cupboard, or perhaps a tool bag left by the door, after doing some work in the house? , I'm always getting flat tyres hence the reason I've got a 24" 1/2 breaker bar in the front of my car with the correct size.of socket on it , also the baseball bat in the boot is used for the odd game of rounders that's why there is several tennis balls in there too.

Haha I bought it Because it was called FUBAR.. Made me giggle the first time I said "fetch the FUBAR"
I used to have FUBAR as a slogan on the bottom my old GSXR1100s number plate, most people agreed it was apt after seeing me ride :D

I'm with poppypiesdad on this, remember that if you do use this against someone you believe is an intruder you will be arrested and questioned about the circumstances you came to use it for, If it is hanging by the front door how are you going to get to it if they come through the front door? come to that If they come into your house via any entrance how are you going to get to it to use it?

Having a weapon available in such a manner is highly likely to be illegal, whether it is a blunt tool or not, you would be better having a good quality wooden walking stick near to the door. ;)

I would question that. Most if not all cases along this line that go on to land in court, are because people do not follow rule 1. Which is keep you mouth shut apart from giving them you name, address and date of birth. Then take advice from, and leave it in the hands of your solicitor.

Don't even give em that til you've spoken with a solicitor. You have the right to remain silent. Use it!

So a policeman comes to your door, you leave him on the doorstep whilst you go phone for a solicitor and wait for him come over to answer the door to the policeman, at 02:45 on a Sunday morning.

Yep, seems reasonable to me
