So far I only have some winter growing (may/june harvest) 2 varieties of peas, broad beans and winter variety of garlic although I am keeping these in my poly greenhouse they are growing really well and once grown the space they are in will be used for something else
so onto my list of what i will be planting soon..... (all heirloom varieties this year)

melons 5 varieties (with these i am completely winging it, never grown them before and they may not grow)
I also have a strawberry patch that is currently under another mini poly tunnel - started with four plants in pots this will be year three with them they have now become 14 plants and so far have produced a good harvest, this is the first year they are planted in the ground in their own patch though - so fingers crossed they will do well as they were going crazy trying to escape the pots
I have started my tomato and peppers sprouting already as last year i started at the end of jan and due to the bad weather the crop didn't ripen so this year they are getting a head start inside - my windowsills are covered with sprouting plants
my family think i'm a little bit over the top but i get no complaints when i am bring fresh home grown veg for the family sunday dinners.
Can't wait for the weather to improve now though
I am growing a lot of varieties this year and all heirloom, this will be my first year using and saving heirloom seeds so it is slightly experimental but it will keep me busy and out of trouble
