I finally collated and printed out a list of radio frequencies for common radio stations - I don't listen to the radio normally, and this is so that *if* there was a big power out, I could get the wind up out and try to figure out what was going on.
And I took advantage of the last day of the Holland and Barrett penny sale - you have to use the sales for staple foods, so I got walnuts, sunflower seeds and brazil nuts at half the inflated price they use for these events. Still cheaper than regular prices tho.
Then off to Sainsbury - I don't use huge amounts of tinned food, but in building up the stock for about a week of *just* tinned food (as opposed to the dried beans and peas, and ready to eat nuts I usually eat) I discovered I *really* like tinned tatties for a quick and easy lunch. Bulky, but I don't care, they're very slurpy
