For cleaning surfaces,etc. or drains, is it best to use malt/white - or does it not matter?

Personally I prefer white and with some bicarb of soda it works wonders.

Where do you get white from? I can only buy small bottles of white vinegar from the supermarket and I'd rather have a big plastic container full! :lol:

According to Martins MoneySaving Forum any asian supermarket stocks the 5l containers. I usually get bottles from tesco. I have quite a large stock :D

You need proper white vinegar and not a rice white vinegar.
Dri-Pak does it, sometimes you can get it from a B+M store, but that will be already packaged in a trigger spray bottle for surface cleaning.

Costco has 5 gall containers for under £4.
