After a winter of being really busy we have been lifting and using the potatoes and carrots that we grew last summer. got my birthday present early I asked for gutters to grow strawberries in on the fence line, although you can use them to grow other thing in. The other half thinks I am mad but hey ho who doesn't have eccentricities

I don't know if it is a prep or a prep for prepping but I have had my kitchen re done so my old cabinets are out in the garage to be used as storage for stuff that will survive out there. Leaving me more room in the house for more perishable stuff.

I would say to start with some blank pieces of paper and put the heading of Food, Heating, Lighting, Cooking, Hygiene, Pets, Security, Power, Medicines, sustainability, knowledge and the most important section treats, etc. I would then divide the page into a number of sections for 1 week, 1 month, 6...

Been collecting glass jars to make jam so its the turn of bramble jelly, I have already made strawberry and raspberry jam and raspberry jelly. Bringing in the veg and herbs. I gave the parsley a scare do and it seems to be regrowing so more parsley for soup. Boyfriends family is coming to pick bramb...

it is possible to save with coupons if you know where to look and to match them up with reduction in prices, and like anything it takes time and you need to work at it. The number one thing to remember is if you won't use it don't get it!!!

looking into making raised bed so far the best idea is decking boards, tending what is already planted, trying to convince OH that we need chickens lol should entertain the cats!!!!
