Anything electronic when travelling should be powered down, SIM removed and Faraday bagged well away from your departure airport and should only be reassembled well after arriving at your destination airport. Good stuff Jenny, its always the little things. Come SHTF, whatever S and whatever F that may be its going to be stressfull enough, let alone without any form of release. I've done this in my small first aid kit in my webbing. I take them out the cardboard, then cut out strips of green fabric tape and lay them on top of the pill with a slight over hang off the edge for peeling.
